Gold at The Independent Beer Awards

We are stoked to have won a gold medal for our Whisky Barrel Aged Imperial Stout at the 2023 Independent Beer Awards in Brisbane last night.

It was an honour to have collaborated with Waubs Harbour Whisky on this beer to ensure that the barrel chosen was the perfect one to add further complexity and depth of flavour and aroma to our beer.

There were 1,348 beers from 190 breweries represented at the awards. To be recognised by our peers and the industry judges is a great reward for our hard work this year.

A big thank you to all our customers and supporters for your patronage and encouragement since we started the Bicheno Beer Co journey.

Congratulations to all the other awesome breweries (especially the Tassie ones!) that won awards last night.
